Patriotism
Does Patriotism matter? I strongly believe that patriotism does matter. I believe that everyone should be treated equally and have equal rights. I also believe that people should have respect for our laws. Everyone should be able to live here not matter what race you are not matter if you are straight or gay.
First off Patriotism does matter. Everyone should be treated equally and they should have equal rights men and women. Men should not get better jobs than women because they are men. Women should have a fair chance at that same job. In the United States people think that men are better at everything. Well guess what they are not. Women can do anything that men can do.
Secondly people in the United States should respect our laws. Not only in the United States but everywhere else to. A lot of people in the United States don't respect our laws. They don’t respect what is illegal or not. Like teens under age drinking that’s not okay but people do it any way, or drinking and driving adults know its wrong and they are not supposed to do it but guess what they do it any way… I don’t understand why people think that they can just get away with breaking the law. Its almost like they want to get caught and have to pay a fine or go to jail.
Lastly Everyone should be able to live here not matter what race you are no matter if you are straight or gay. It should not matter. That falls back to the topic of everyone should be treated equally. No one should care if you are gay or straight. If you are gay you should be able to have the same chances at a job as straight people do. For an example that girl who was in the air force as a pilot and she had worked her way up to that position. When someone had told the head commander or someone like that, that she was not straight. Then she was fired and forced to leave the air force. Things like that should not happen.
All people should be treated equally. It should not matter if you are a man or a women. You should have the same rights as any other person. People in the United States should also respect our laws. Lastly everyone should be able to live here no matter what your race or if you are gay or straight. It should not matter. I could go on and on about how much patriotism does matter and how people should respect our country.
